On Sunday, July 24, an electrifying face-off is set to take place at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan as the Blackwater Bossing goes head-to-head with the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters. The stage is set for a thrilling showdown between these two formidable teams.
The Bossing are currently on a three-game winning streak, while the Elasto Painters are looking to secure a top two finish in the PBA On Tour.
Blackwater coach Jeff Cariaso said that his team is not just aiming for a fourth straight win but also to learn and grow from each game.
“In tomorrow’s game, we are looking at it as an opportunity to continue the winning streak, but more importantly, to learn and grow as a team,” Cariaso said.
The Bossing will be without key players Yousef Taha, Tyrus Hill, and James Sena, but Cariaso is confident that his team can still pull off a victory.
“We are dealing with a few injuries, but we have a deep team, and I believe that we can still compete with Rain or Shine,” Cariaso said.
The Elasto Painters are led by Beau Belga, Leonard Santillan, and Jewel Ponferrada. They are a tough team to beat, but the Bossing is ready for the challenge.
“We know that Rain or Shine is a good team, but we are also a good team, and we are confident that we can beat them,” Cariaso said.
The game is sure to be a close one, and fans can expect an exciting display of basketball.
