Blackwater capped off its PBA On Tour campaign on a high note, routing TNT, 101-78, on Sunday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
JVee Casio led the way for Blackwater with 18 points, including 14 in the second half. He also had four rebounds and three assists.
Six other Blackwater players finished in double figures, led by rookie Ato Ular with 14 points.

The Bossing’s balanced scoring played a significant role in their win. They had a 50% field goal percentage and a 40% three-point percentage.

TNT, on the other hand, struggled from the field, shooting just 34% from the field and 20% from three-point range.

The win gave Blackwater a 7-4 record in the PBA On Tour. They finished in third place, behind Meralco (7-4) and San Miguel (8-3).
Blackwater head coach Jeff Cariaso was pleased with his team’s performance.

“I’m happy with the way the guys came out, mentally strong,” he said. “Whatever I asked, binigay naman nila. So I’m proud of them for that.”
Cariaso also credited Casio for his outstanding performance.
“JVee was huge for us,” he said. “He was able to get to his spots and knock down shots.”

The win was a significant one for Blackwater, as it was their first under Cariaso. The new head coach has been tasked with turning around the team’s fortunes, and this victory is a step in the right direction.
With this win, Blackwater will be looking to carry this momentum into the upcoming PBA season. They will be hoping to build on their success and make a run at the championship.
