The 24-year-old Cebu native was only able to manage 23.39 points in her first run and was not able to complete her routine. She took to Facebook after her run to apologize to her fans, saying that she did not have a medal to bring home to Cebu.

Meanwhile, two teenagers from the host country, China, bagged the gold and silver medal.

13-year-old Cui Chenxi won the gold with a total score of 242.62 points, while Zeng Wenhui got the silver after totaling 236.61 points.

The bronze medal went to Japan’s Momiji Nishiya, who scored 234.25 points.
